I suddenly feel a big passion to blog about Jesus again… but I am so busy! I have no idea how I’m going to fulfill this and keep my life balanced… I mean can I afford to do this? It used to take so much of my time to run this blog when I was writing my own thoughts… Any thoughts?

Scripture: … Israel worshiped as he leaned on top of his staff. - Genesis 47:31 NIV

Observation:  Israel (Jacob) was making his funeral preparations in this chapter.Israel is still worshiping God in his old age.

Application:  We should never stop worshiping God whether we are old or young. We need a lifetime of prayer like Israel.

Prayer: Jesus, forgive me. I don’t think I’ve been worshiping you at all lately. I want to start again. Also, please help me rid my heart of this anger. It is unhealthy. Thank you Jesus. I love you.

There isn’t just one wrong path and just one right path. We each have our own paths, and no one can tell us what it is but God.

 As the famine got worse all over the country, Joseph opened the store-houses and sold emergency supplies to the Egyptians. The famine was very bad. Soon the whole world was coming to buy supplies from Joseph. The famine was bad all over. ~ Genesis 41.56-57 MSG

When times get hard, God gives those of God’s children who listen what they need to survive. Upon seeing this the unsaved will see our joy in life even though times are bad, and come seeking what we have. We will share with them. Some will throw the message we share with them away, others will accept like we have.

We must use our lives to show the world the joy we have from God, so that they might seek it through us.

God, I give you my life. Use me as an example as to what You can do, use me to bring others to know You.

When the world is at its worst the Church needs to be at its best. We don’t go to church, we are the Church. Our God is bigger than any crisis. And God will not call us to to do something we are not equipped to do. We need to preach sound doctrine. What we do in private and public should be the same: It’s all one life. You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;  ~ Ephesians 4:22 NIV. We need to yield to the spirit in all life and conduct. Some of us are going through what we’re going through today because of our own stupidity. We suffer the consequences for not listening to the Spirit, and then we get angry at God when it was our own fault. A person’s own folly leads to their ruin,
   yet their heart rages against the LORD.  ~ Proverbs 19:3 NIV. We need to have confidence in God. We need Goldy character in our lives to be sustainable. The examined life is the safe life, so examine your life to see where you need to improve. God has placed people in your life that are going to discourage you. There are people watching and listening to your life that you don’t even know about, so be careful about what you might or might not teach them through your example. We need a message worth remembering, we need a life worth considering. God has not called us to be extreme and silly, God has called us to have faith to complete the tasks God gives us. God loves you today and cares about what you are going through.

There’s always someone on Earth being touched by God.
