You are there for me no matter what. And you always know exactly what to say. I don’t know why I always seem to want to cry out to other people first when the best, and easiest solution is you. Thank you so much for being here anyways :’)
Um yeah, that’s kinda the point… that He loved us enough to die for us without us having to ask. When you love someone you don’t wait for them to ask for help and love, you give it to them freely.
I know God is there even when I can’t see Him. That is what faith is.
I know Alex can be Christian, that God can save him even if I can’t see how.
That is faith.
Scripture: So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. - Genesis 2:21-22 NIV
Observations: God designed Eve with Adam in mind. God designs other people with certain people in mind too.
Application: This can be more than in a romantic sense, but it does greatly apply to romantic relationships. God designs partners for each other like Adam and Eve, Issac and Rebekah, etc. Because of this it is important to consult God when choosing a life partner.
Prayer: Jesus I want Alex to be my life partner. But I want to make sure You want that too. I’m pretty sure You do, because of all the things You’ve said to me. So many reassurances, I feel very certain in this relationship. But I want make sure You’re still included in this and that I still listen to You.
Does anyone know how I can rekindle our love?
“Let me give you a new command: Love one another. In the same way I loved you, you love one another. This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples—when they see the love you have for each other.” - John 13:34-35 MSG
I can’t make others be good people, but I can practice what I preach and be an example to those around me. I can try to make the world a better place, starting with me.
So they seized her as she reached the place where the horses enter the palace grounds, and there she was put to death. ~ 2 Kings 11:16 NIV
Athaliah was a woman. And she was treated the same as man would have been treated.
God doesn’t see sex or race when he hands out punishment. The same goes for his love.
As Christians we are supposed to follow the example of Christ. That means sex and race should not affect our love.
Jesus, I agree. But why are you telling me this right now? Do I need to apply this better?
