My Journal, My Relationship, My God.

Ask me anything   Often Christianity is introduced as a religion. But have you ever heard of it as a relationship? You can be religious about going to church and having all the rituals without actually being a Christian. You have to have your heart in it! This is my personal recording of my relationship with God. In any good relationship you talk and listen to each other, and these are some of the things God talks to me about. I hope to inspire others so they too can have: Your Journal, Your Relationship, Your God, because God is for everyone. I would love people to ask questions, so don't be scared, but please be respectful.

It is okay to just be still in God. It doesn’t mean I’m stagnate. God is silently working behind the scenes. I just need to trust in him and be in his presence. Being able to be together and be silent just means we have a close relationship.

Psalm 9:10

“Those who know your name will trust you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.”

When we seek God, he promises that he will not forsake us.

Know his name, trust him, and seek him.

There isn’t just one wrong path and just one right path. We each have our own paths, and no one can tell us what it is but God.

GOD:Why do you care and listen to what other people say? Why aren't you listening to me? I'm the one you need to listen to.

The Same God

Scripture reassures us, “No one who trusts God like this—heart and soul—will ever regret it.” It’s exactly the same no matter what a person’s religious background may be: the same God for all of us, acting the same incredibly generous way to everyone who calls out for help. “Everyone who calls, ‘Help, God!’ gets help.” ~ Romans 10:11-13 MSG

No matter your background or what or who you have been, if you call out to God he will answer, he will accept you for who you are. And those who completely trust in God will be rewarded.

John 16

“When a woman gives birth, she has a hard time, there’s no getting around it. But when the baby is born, there is joy in the birth. This new life in the world wipes out memory of the pain. The sadness you have right now is similar to that pain, but the coming joy is also similar. When I see you again, you’ll be full of joy, and it will be a joy no one can rob from you. You’ll no longer be so full of questions. ~ John 16:21-23 MSG

When we go through hard times we have to remember God wouldn’t make us struggle if he didn’t have a reason. When we are done going through the darkness we will see the light at the end of the tunnel leading to something better. We just have to trust in God in times of sadness and darkness even if we don’t understand or know his reasons.

A truely blessed day. He heard my prayers from the get-go, had everything all blue printed out and smiling down upon my mum and I He answered our prayers. This morning He spoke to me .. . Not by mouth but let me know by heart that a positive occurance was on the way and it would be very soon. He…
